Day 5 of Organizing my Home Office

Done at last… nothing like an organized office to boost your energy. Love coming in here now. I have space on my shelves and 2 empty file drawers.

What did being disorganized cost me this past year?

Wasted Money:

I almost went out to buy office supplies to help me organize but decided to wait. Glad I waited. During the office organizing process, I ended up with a surplus of binders, dividers, storage containers, file folders etc.

Sad part is that I spend hundreds of dollars on un-needed supplies during 2007. Simply because I couldn’t find stuff or outdated stuff took up space. I got an abundance office supplies.

Late Fee Charges:

I won’t even mention how many bills got paid late because I couldn’t find them or tried to remember when they were due… Once again hundreds of dollars wasted on late fee charges not to mention a ding in the credit rating.

Miss Opportunities:

Miss opportunities to build relationships… That translates into missed income and business growth.

Wasted Time:

Right after all the upheaval finally settled down… I should have stopped and put things back in order. But getting caught up in the old "time management" mentally of doing… doing… doing cause me to lose 7 months of 2007.

I fell off the wagon… or should I say the Thinking Outside the Clock Success system. Without it, my blonde brain takes over and my naturally tendancy for disorganization and scatterbrain behavior resurfaces.

Found Money

I found checks and cash while organzing my office. Not only that, unexpected checks showed up in the mail. This disorganized mess blocked prosperity.

I learned some valuable lessons… discovered I’m an imperfect human and it didn’t take that much to back on the Thinking Outside the Clock Success system.
